I caved

So after spending an unnecessary amount of time wrestling with the decision, and despite having some reservations about being involved with anything that begins with the word "Twit" I've decided to go ahead and give this Twitter thing a chance.

I've never been a fan of that status thingy on facebook, so I can't see it lasting long.

I have a feeling it might be like a couple of weeks ago when I tried escargot. I didn't spit it out or anything, but I did politely decline the enthusiastic offer of a second helping of snail, thanks very much.

I've NEVER updated my facebook status.

Twitter is a whole different ballgame.

You'll love it.

(I added you :))

Twitter kind of freaks me out . . . let me know how it goes, maybe I'll get on board.

Damn, I thought maybe you drove for seven hours to see a man in costume.

I signed up for twitter to learn about it, and there it lies, fallow. I hated it! I am currently being followed by the Utah State Parks System and two stalker-y type people. I just can't get into it. I am on facebook because my cousin made me do it... I check it occasionally, so not as useless as twitter. My mother in law seemed concerned that I can talk to my brother in law. Without a real family-member-as-chastity-belt between us. My husband has no idea I am so insatiable. Poor dear.

I can't guarantee you'll love it, but you'll certainly be able to see what it's about.

And if you don't like it and need to decline, no big deal.

I've just joined The Twit Community too. I'll add you :)

Well thanks, Sarahbelle! I'm certainly willing to be convinced.

LAB: Yeah, I've felt that way too. I'll let you guys know how the great twitter experiment goes.

Mari: HA! That would be so much more exciting! Sadly I won't be seeing my very own Spartan warrior for another couple of weeks yet. I can't wait for soap operas to start featuring facebook trysts between in-laws.

Elle Bee: Exactly. I figure there's no harm in checking it out.
